Project Description

‘This project required AP being Versatile with the Housedeck system that was used. The House foundations where constructed using a Klemm 709 Rig & a Voided Housedeck System, plus a step (Seen In Picture). ”

Site manager – Oliver McKenna

After The main house foundations were constructed the client asked for a basement to be created next to the already built Housedeck system. As the Rigs and crews were available at this time, creating a basement was easily added.

This basement was created by using a mini digger to dig next to the original slab due to limited access and manoeuvrability. As the digger got to the level needed for piling (Kitten Rig), there was a sign of soil collapse. The Injection of concrete to these areas provided a safe working area for the crews to work.

A number of piles had to be removed (Jackhammer & Disc Cutter) so that access for the kitten rig, this was quick and clean.

The benefits for the client was that this project was delivered on time and adapted to their needs.

Keston Construction :  Steve Browning stated;

‘Very Happy with the Capabilities of the Housedeck System and the performance of the Abbey Pynford Team. Throughout the whole project there was a great amount of detail undertaken by AP which produced great results’.
